Welcome to My E-portfolio
Hello and welcome to my E-portfolio. I have been a student for a long time and have had a lot of great experiences. I was enlisted in the Marine Corps for 4 years (98'-02'), then worked as a diesel mechanic, managed a Subway, went to culinary school and have been a substance abuse counselor for the past 10 years. I decided I was ready for a career change and while I was browsing job openings, found occupational therapy. After some brief research OT looked like a great fit, so I began the necessary steps to apply to the program.
I began the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Salt Lake Community College in fall of 2014. I'll graduate in spring of 2016. At this point I'm not sure what specific setting I want to work in. I am open to all experiences and look forward to the good and not so good to help build knowledge and real world expertise.
